§ terms

Terms of service.

These terms govern your use of cal, operated by Venn Labs LLC. By using cal you agree to them. Effective 29 September 2026.

The service

cal lets you combine multiple calendar sources - iCal feeds, rule-based virtual calendars, and calendars you connect through Google - into one merged feed, published at an address only you control. You choose the privacy mode and visibility for each calendar you create.

Provided as-is

cal is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any feed it produces will always be accurate or available.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use cal to scrape, aggregate, or republish someone else's private calendar without their permission.
  • Send requests at a volume or pattern intended to overload cal or the feed sources it fetches on your behalf.
  • Use cal in a way that breaches Google's terms of service, or the terms of any other calendar provider whose feed you add as a source.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for what you publish through a public feed URL, and for the calendars you choose to import - including any Google calendar you connect and select. A public feed is accessible to anyone with its address; choose the privacy mode and visibility that fit what you are comfortable sharing.

Account termination

You may stop using cal and delete your calendars at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to cal for accounts that breach these terms, including the acceptable use section above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of cal will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, and you consent to venue there.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows it, Venn Labs LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of cal - for example, a missed meeting caused by a delayed or dropped feed. Our total liability for any claim relating to cal is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us for it.

Changes

We may update these terms as cal changes. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the current version.
